This statement explains what Perfect Measure collects when you use the Perfect Measure app, why, who processes it and the choices you have. We wrote it to match what the app and our servers actually do.

Sections 1 to 12 describe the Perfect Measure app; section 13 describes our website, perfect-measure.com.

1. Who we are

Perfect Measure is provided by Perfect Measures Portal L.L.C, Office 408-06, Pinnacle Building, Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Barsha First, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism under licence no. 1508302 ("Perfect Measure", "we", "us"). 2. What we collect

• Your account: when you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and a unique account identifier from Google. We never see your Google password, and we do not store your Google profile picture.
• Your profile: the name, gender, date of birth, phone number and country you enter.
• Measurement details: the height, weight and gender you give for each measurement: yours, or your child's (section 10).
• Your photos: the two photos (front and side) of the person being measured, you or your child, that you take or choose for a measurement. We use them only to calculate your measurements and do not keep them (section 3).
• Your results: the body measurements we calculate, how confident we are in each one, and advice about your photos.
• Technical data: our servers record request identifiers, times, IP address and app version to operate and secure the service, and the app confirms with Google Play or Apple that it is a genuine copy.
• On your device only: your chosen language and whether you answered the "were your measurements correct?" question.

3. Your photos

• Before anything is sent, the app checks your pose on your phone. This check runs entirely on your device.
• The photos are then sent over an encrypted connection to our servers, which check that they can be measured and calculate your measurements. The computing service that does the calculation receives the photos with your height, weight and gender only: never your name, email address or phone number.
• We do not keep your photos. They are used only while your measurement is being calculated and are then discarded. They are never saved on our servers.
• The app deletes the photos from its storage on your phone as soon as they have been used, replaced or discarded. It never passes them to other apps.
• No AI training, no generative AI. We calculate your measurements with computer-vision models. We never use your photos or any of your data to train or improve AI models, and we never send them to large language models or generative AI services.

4. Why we use your data

• To create your account and let you sign in.
• To check your photos and calculate and show your body measurements. This is the service you ask us for.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors.
• To meet our legal obligations.

5. Your data stays with us

Your personal data stays inside the Perfect Measure app and the infrastructure that runs it. We never sell or rent it, never send it to any other company, and never use it for advertising. The app contains no advertising or analytics tools.

That infrastructure is operated for us by two kinds of provider, who act only on our instructions, under contract, and may not use your data for their own purposes:

• Cloud hosting: runs our servers, sign-in and the database where your profile and results are stored.
• Computing: the graphics processors that calculate your measurements from your photos. It receives only what section 3 describes.

We disclose data only when the law requires it. If we later offer features that connect you with clothing retailers, we will ask for your consent before sharing anything with them.

6. Where your data is processed

Our servers and database are hosted in the European Union (Belgium). The measurement calculation may run in data centres in other countries, under the same contractual protections.

7. How long we keep it

• Account, profile and measurement history: for as long as you have an account, so you can see your measurements over time.
• Unfinished measurements: deleted automatically after 30 days.
• Photos: not kept (section 3).
• Server logs: 30 days. Our logs never contain your name, email address, phone number, photos or measurements.

8. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Delete account. We then permanently delete your sign-in, your profile (name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender and country) and all your measurements and history. We keep only the reason you gave for leaving, with nothing that identifies you.

9. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw any permission you gave. You can correct your profile in the app (Profile → Profile Details) and delete your account there too. For anything else, email contact@perfect-measure.com; we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the data-protection authority where you live.

10. Age and children

Perfect Measure measures people of any age from 3 to 100, but accounts are for adults aged 18 and over. A parent or legal guardian can measure their child using their own account. By doing so, they confirm that they are the child's parent or legal guardian and that they agree to the child's photos and details being used as this statement describes. The photos are never kept (section 3), and the child's measurements belong to the parent's account and are deleted with it.

We do not knowingly let anyone under 18 hold an account. If you believe someone under 18 has one, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

Data travels over encrypted connections. Your profile and results are stored on servers that the app cannot read directly: every request is checked against your signed-in account, so only you can see your measurements in the app. Our own access is limited to operating and supporting the service. On your phone, the app keeps its settings in the system's secure storage.

12. Changes to this statement

When we change this statement we update the date at the top, and we tell you in the app before an important change takes effect.

13. Our website

• Forms: when you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, phone number, the reason you chose and your message; the newsletter form receives your email address. With each form we also record your IP address and browser type, to stop abuse. We use this only to answer you and to send the newsletter you asked for, and keep it until you ask us to delete it: email contact@perfect-measure.com.
• Spam protection: both forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which receives your IP address and information about your browser; Google provides it under its own privacy policy and terms.
• Fonts: the site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers.
• No advertising or analytics: the site has no advertising or analytics tools. It sets only the cookies it needs to work, such as the one that remembers your language.
• Server logs: our web server records IP addresses, times and the pages requested, to keep the site secure, and keeps these logs for 14 days.
• Hosting: the website and its form data are hosted by a cloud hosting provider in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union). Form messages reach our inbox through our email provider. Apart from these two providers, Google reCAPTCHA and Google Fonts are the only other companies involved in the website.
